SUMMARY:Lara is braving the shave!
DESCRIPTION:On the 24th December 2020 I will be braving the shave to raise funds for the S.A.F.E. Charity (Supported Activities for Everyone). \nIt is a charity which has been running since 2012 and they support adults with learning disabilities and additional needs in and around Saxmundham.  S.A.F.E. has been involved in setting up many groups such as Pear Tree Cafe\, Tuesday Drop-in\, Drama Group\, etc and holding their own fund raising events to help keep them running. \nThe groups and events that S.A.F.E. organises provide those that use them with a venue to socialise\, enable them to make new friends and discover new hobbies and interests along with helping them become more independent and gain life skills. \nBeing a charity and having to raise their own funds to keep going and due to the Corona virus  pandemic and lock down restrictions\, funds are being eaten up by mundane bills\, insurance\, payroll\, etc and they are struggling to bring funds in as a lot of the groups are closed. \nThis is causing problems such a isolation and depression of the people they support\, so when the groups and Pear Tree Cafe start up again\, they would like to be able to do something nice for the people\, maybe an outing or activity together or if this is not possible\, then they would like to buy resources to do fun and exciting activities from home. \nTherefore to help raise some much needed funds\, I will be shaving all my hair off\, if you would like to donate to them please follow this link https://www.safe-charity.org.uk/donate/ \nKind Regards \n  \nLara
